Thought if we were going out for dinner best to maybe pick somewhere that might entertain my friends kids as even though not young seemed to have a small problem with sitting still in restaurants.
Had heard Uncle Norms was supposed to be good for kids so rang Made to pick us up and headed there. Its just a small restaurant but staff were excellent ,good sense of humour with the kids , definately what was needed to say the least. They did lots of tricks etc and the food was great and very reasonably priced. Think a sirloin steak, nasi goreng and satays,jaffle,2 bintangs,2 milkshakes and 2 juices were about $23 . Just worth it to keep the kids under control. Thought it funny that i had indo food and Made had Aust..
Hannah decided she might like to do some shopping and whilst i went to retrieve her back from the shop she was in across the road where she must have inspected everything in there saw these beautiful tops. Ended up buying three ,apparently i think the owners sisters makes them to export they were all different groovy ones with sequins in different designs must have taken someone hours to do . The one with a big butterfly had hundreds. One has a tag with Miss Selfridge on and they had price tags in British Pounds one of which was 15. Think i paid around $9 aust each. The name of the stall is Asih Shop Art market,Melasti street Block 1A.
Decided on an early night as Made picking us up by 7 am the next day to go to Singaraja to visit our sponsored child for the first time and visit the Helen Flavel Learning Centre...Cont
