Hey everyone who are wishing they were here!!!

Arrived yesterday at lunchtime....

Bali is rather quiet... even Cafe Moka and all the other usually busy eateries are dismally deserted.

Had a massage today - Rp 50,000 for an hour!!! Right on Jl Legian too! Near the Bintang Supermarket... its called Putri Bali Spa. Tha lady Wayan who massaged me told me that some days are so bad - not a single customer darkens their door.

Managed a trip to Millenia (Jl Teuku Omar, Denpasar) today too... great finds for kids (my son age 3)... not so great for women / men....

Ramayana was intersting... only Rp. 25,000 for a bottle of Revlon nail varnish... downside was their selection was too small.

Meals so far:

Taste Resto - yummy and cheap!!!! We had the escargot, french onion soup, garlic prawns & local tenderloin steak...also 3 Bintangs... we were only billed Rp 187,000!

Cafe Moka & Bali Deli - great french pastries at both places... although price-wise Cafe Moka is the better deal...

Tekor Bali - fab service and entertaining staff... they sang & danced (literally) to amuse my son!

Will write more tomorrow (this will serve as my travel log)...

Nina
