my partner & i stayed in lombok last march 4 8 days at the puri saron nice small hotel on the beach also has pool . we loved the place after the hussel & bussel of bali . we did the potery weaving & kuta tour and enjoyed that we were the only ones there, kuta beach is so lovely & unspoilt. we found the hawkers in sengiggi a bit more foucefull but thats understandable, we were the only tourist on the street [they didnt understand teduk "no" ] as 4 the trafic it was good 2 cross the road with out taking your life in your hands gilli islands were fantastic ,resturants were great [asmara is the best food i eat on the holiday & only wish they delivered ]. we only went 2 lombok because B wanted 2 go 2 1 off the islands , inshort we have booked our nex holiday 4 this year 1week bali 4 WEEKS lombok then back 2 bali 4 a week then home . B is nearly 40 & i am very late 40s so we like it a bit slower , every one to there own i suppose we love the place & we hope 2 see more of lombok , we also are bali junkies , come on june
