secret or anything, I just got sick of people asking so I've just started saying "No, sorry, we don't shop for other people when we're on holidays because we find we don't enjoy our holiday if we do." If they're really persistent I do resort to "I'll see what I can do, but I probably won't get a chance to get it", and the explain when I get back that we were up to the limit with our luggage weights (which we always are! I don't know of any subtle way that works - I have tried and people just seem to MmmmmHmmm you whilst they're thinking of what else they can ask you to get. And the problem with Bali is that everything is so cheap that they aren't asking for 1 dvd or anything, it's always a heap of stuff. Sorry not to have a wonderful solution for you! Cheers, Sue.
