FIRST: dont go to Sydney there has been numerous stabbings and shootings the last few weeks!!!
Being serious, Bali is just as safe as anywhere else in this crazy world and once there, you will soon see why we all love it and become Bali Junkies!!
With all the stabbings, shootings, mugging, rapes etc that go in in some of our major cities in Australia daily - I honestly feel a hell of a lot safer in Bali.
I have been there 10 times, 4 times on my own, and i have never for one minute felt in any danger.
Every country has its horror stories and some are just 'stories'...I remember about 20years ago my mum saying that 'dont go to Bali, they cut your kidneys out for the sparepart market' another one was 'people get bitten by spiders over there and 6 weeks later they hatch in your body".......
Of course you should be careful, but thats anywhere you go on holiday!!!
