...anyway the big decision ..where to eat.
Since it was my friends kids first visit to Bali my 8 yr old suggested Bubba Gumps as loves it and now knows all the tricks so after the lone cocktail or maybe two out of the pool to get changed in 2 mins and in a hotel Kijang for 25,000 to bubba gumps in Kuta. The Patra does have a free shuttle about 6 times a day but never ready at the right time and the car being $4 between us was ok.
Have now worked out whenever we go to Bubbas not to order a meal each as never end up eating all of it esp kids better just to share a few then reorder if nec esp. if they order any milk drinks..
Hannah aware of the need for us to order the Frozen Margarita mostly for the other kids entertainment so of course did so. These are really enough for 2 to share. The look on the kids faces was enough to entertain me. All the staff come out to do their bit at the table with all the noise and even though Hannah has seen this half a doz. times now still loves it. For anyone with kids definately recommend this for a night out.
Even though the shops were calling the kids were starting to fade and as i wanted to semi sort the op shop i had in the room decided it best to head back and have an early night.
So much for a sleep-in Hannahs up turning lights on wanting to get dressed and go for breakfast which was a buffet and included but as it wasnt possible being 5 am lied there a bit longer before i had chase her back inside . Thought the security guys might not be too happy checking on who had the torch in the gardens in the pitch black even if only innocently looking for frogs, so had to settle to hearing the TV.
When eventually light outsight headed over near brekkie love early morning at the Patra just so serene and the ocean views magic.
Had a bit to eat although never seemed to be hungry in the ams.
Hannah keen to get her hair braided and as its very long and thick is great for me as saves heaps of time everyday.
Before i had finished the coffee she had already gone to negotiate the hair with the beach ladies when they arrived. This had turned into nails and a massage for her as well. Gave me a free quiet am near the pool with my friend headed down to Kuta to take the boys surfing.
Her hair took about 2 hrs and we took over the beads cost 120,000 ,nails 20,000 and kids massage about 20,000 for 15-20 mins.. Much better than my friend Cathy's $23 aust for an eyebrow pluck on the beach at Kuta plus what other ridiculous prices she paid. Had told her dont buy anything until im there..No wonder the ladies down that end were keen to see her everyday they must have been cracking up when she left in the afties...
Everyone happy with their relaxed though early 1st morning ,now waiting for my friends driver to pick me up to go to lunch at the new villa which i had seen on the net and looked beautiful that they bought a couple of months ago at Canggu... cont..
