The gate has been shut since June/July last year and it is now a wall. The lovely girls in the small shop (on the right) let you go through to Poppies during daytime but a couple of weeks ago they had got new cabinets which narrowed the thoroughfare so not sure if they are planning to stop us using this shortcut too.
