I am a big GVC fan, I can't rave about this place enough, the staff are the best, the rooms are basic but who spends alot of time in there rooms when in Bali, (the new rooms are fantastic) they also have great theme nights for dinner, the Sunday Night Roast is sooooo yummy, and Pasta Night is great as well, I really sorry if i'm rambling but i can't praise this place enough.
I have never stayed at Baleka so I can't really give an comparision but GVC are really safe, clean and very entertaining.
