A couple of tips....Your 7kg hand baggage is over and above your allowance of 20kg. I also have a very big "handbag" I pack all heavy items like phone chargers etc in carry on as I have never had weighed with any airline. My handbag also get smaller heavy items (just watch out that you don't put any "sharps" in either)
Obviously if you have DVD's don't pack in their plastic cases.
