The Wooden room we stayed was number 18. Is a lovely room. Is just next to the gym, next to gym is the bale, then the pool. not too far from the reception, you need to walk up the wooden stair to access the room, and is empty compound below. 2 pairs of sparrow started to build their nest on wooden pilar of the balcony right above the doorway, when wind blow, the grass (alang-alang) that brought up by the birds for their next kept falling down, and scattered on the balcony.....was fun, my daughter love to watch them building their nest, the progress seems very slow, after 3 days, not even shape of a nest...:-)

The bath room came with a large bath tub and a separate show area. The only problem is that shower have no shower curtain and whenever we took our shower, the water will splash outside the shower area and wet the flooring nearby, have to becareful to ensure we don't slip. not a major problem, we will definately request for the same room if we go back next time.

Mosquito coil and electrical mosquito mat are available in the room. FYou may setup the mosquito coil (in a clay pot) and placed it at the balcony, use the electrical mosquito mat in door. But during our visit, we did not use any of those. Not a big problem for us, but again depening on your level you can tolerate... ;-)

Coffee and tea making facilities available in room. A small electical water pot is provided, we usually pour drinking water to boil and make coffee. The Balinese Coffee powder is replenished daily. Yes, try that.

I don't normally go to coffee bean or star buck for coffee in KL, I prefer the local coffee...taste quite similar to Balinese coffee except the bean is not finely grinded.

Our trip is quite short, only 5 days 4 nights, not able to pick up the cooking class, but I heard is worth a try....

Both the old ladies were discussed about whether to use the massage oil or not to oil, before the session, I put a joke and told them not to make the masseur's life difficult, just us the oil........End of the session, the 2 old ladies enjoyed it very much. TegalSari just started their very own spa shop in Ubud which provide free transport to their spa shop, just that we are unable to travel there on Nyepi day, perhaps you would like to give it a try on your visit.

Old = Matured & wise...so Cheers.
