WE had our wedding at Villa Puri Nirwana in Cucukan this time last year.(about 20 minutes north of Sanur) The girls from Bali Weddings organised the service, and we had Annie from Sanur Deli do the catering (she also organised alcohol very reasonably). About 35 family and friends attended and everything was simply perfect, The property is beachfront, for a tiny fee the owners organised a Gamelan Band and dancers, and for a short time all the local villagers came quietly in,sat down and listened to the music, and then just slipped out again. We stayed in Sanur and hired a bus to bring everyone up and then home. We stayed on at the villa for 3 days and just relaxed after. Mind you most of the crowd came back up next day. WE didnt mind the distance because the property was such a treasure, but I know it depends on where you are used to staying.
