I have a friend whose daughter used to be the personal assistant to the Sultan's 2nd wife .. she was offered the job after the Queen noticed her serving at a buffet function in Auckland - and she was still at Uni , hired as a waitress for the night . APy was nominal BUT every few weeks a parcel of US Dollars would be on the table - she is now a multi millionaire with many houses , could only last about 5 years but it set her up for life. One day they went shopping for jewellery - the Queen couldn't decide between a ruby or emerald necklace , bought both and gave one to her assistant :-) Unbelievable luxury , but sshe wasn't allowed to go to bed until after the royal persons and had to get up before them , so it was a long day ..
