We were upgraded but never checked out the room we were originally booked in. We had a room on the third level overlooking the pool and towards the restaurant and reception. There is a lift and even toilets across from the lift on each floor - always immaculately clean as if no-one had ever used them before you. The room was lovely and spacious, clean and very pleasant. The staff were very friendly. As the hotel is fairly small it would be easy to get to know the staff. It is located just near the lane leading to the Pantai restaurant and a few minutes walk from Discovery Plaza. I would recommend the hotel any time. The only unreliable thing was the Internet access - not always available and fairly costly - but our money was refunded as we weren't happy with the service. Breakfasts were nice and once it was a la carte rather than buffet. We had other meals there and were not disappointed. You can dine near the pool or overlooking the road if you want to watch the passing parade.
