it's not about you having an opinion on tipping or how you feel about generosity.
It's about the fact that you knew quite well that the person/s you were talking about were from this forum.
If you want to state an opinion on tipping/generosity then do so..
rather than repeating/including things in your opinion you either overheard or were told in private...eg
"Obviously her travelling companions were of the same opinion because they too were gob smacked she was so shallow"
Why the high horse here about forum Nazis, tightwads etc...?
After all, your posts are not about your opinion & generosity in general they are specifically putting down this particular person who others may or may not like on here.....
