What I liked about him is that he helped us out with a lift on a very wet day when we had been caught out walking in Campuan and needed a lift back to Penestanan. Some local boys playing chess saw us come by and gestured "driver" and said the usual "transport" but wanted 20,000 for a ver short drive. When I offered 10,000 they declined and turned back to the chess game. We walked on for 500 metres and came to some shelter at the silver shop across from Ibah Hotel. The driver approached us and asked where we needed to go When we told him Penestanan, Gerebig Bungalow he said no problem and no charge as only short trip, maybe we use him another time. When we got there I decided to give him 10,000 anyway but he said if I was paying then only worth 5,000. I insisted and he ended up with 10,000. He is either very pleasant and kind or very clever! I think it is the former. Does that sound like him?
