recommend. There is a laundry up the road just past the little supermarket, heading away from Kuta. I've also got another little fixed price stall, or two where the prices are wonderful! The first one is the 'black & white sports & mini market'. It's on the Bali Rani side of the street and is about 2 or 3 shops away, heading out of Kuta. If you go there, tell them that I (who lost her voice) sent you there, really lovely Chinese couple run it. I found their prices for bags, and fairly unusual LV gear was FAR cheaper than I could ever haggle for, and I LIKE haggling! I bought a Kris Kringle at work a fantastic black evening bag with a gold chain handle for about 120,000 IIRR, and she was a fashion queen, and was blown away by it! Also heading down that little Gang Samudra towards the Pantai restuarant is a zillion stalls. About the 2nd or so to last is 'Rama's" which is fixed price also, and had some very nice shoes and stuff. we spent about 1million there, so that gives you some indication! I've never had a problem with Diane but have oftne heard that sometimes Diane is a little snakey if she sees you shopping somewhere. I always tell her that way I can help a few people & it's more fairer. Also when you see her shop if you head back towards Kuta, the girls who do my hair extentions, Jody & Sari, have a small rather pitifull stall on the left hand side of a little alley way that also runs off on the left. If you see them before we get there, I forget your dates, tell them I'm coming!
In case you wanted to contact me, we've changed our addy to
