hell I didn't mean for anyone to cry... LOL
Thanks to all of you who have read my jbr's,enjoyed them, and posted responses.
So some answers re a fe questions:
Lynp - re champagne. I purchase my alcohol from a wholesaler on the bypass road to Sanur. The name is P.T. Surya, however there is no signage and unless you know the location it is very easy to miss. It is located about 100 metres before Makro on the same side. When they are open you can see a small section of the greenish roll-away doors. Sorry it is the best description I can give.
Other than that, as Linda [Aminkila] posted, Best Wines which is located almost directly opposite the prison in Kerobokan has a small selection of champagnes, french and Australian. Bali Deli on Jalan Kunti also sell champagne. I hope this is some help.
Bunbury Gal - re Jewellers. In the past I have always either purchased or had pieces made at Mayang Jewellers in Kuta Square. Next time however I will most likely give the jeweller in the Bali Hai hotel in Tuban a go. My friend Linda [Aminkila] had some beautiful rings and earrings made there this last trip. Le [Tuberose] has also had jewellery made there for a very reasonable price. I purchased the gemstones in the bead shop opposite Bintang supermarket where the car park is. The name on the docket is Bali Beads House, although the address says Kuta. They must have a couple of stores.
Tuberose - I have noted your request for chocolate in the event of hospitalization.
Kermy - I expect you to post another jbr detailing your experiences in Lombok and the Gilis.... :-)
Tina - my liver is in rehab...LOL
As to when I next return, well my employer has made it abundantly clear that in the last 12 months I have had way too much fun. Lets put it this way, the next ticket is already issued and I will no doubt see some of you there.... watch this space :-)
