We live on 7 acres of land and have created a beautiful bali theme outdoors. We have travelled to Bali 8 times in the past 3 and a half years and in that time have brought 3 containers back from Bali. In our front yard we have 2 Huge Lions guarding our driveway entrance which are made of the black Volcanic rock, then a huge pond with statues of frogs and turtles and a big crocodile made also of volcanic rock which are stacked on bricks in the pond to look like they are just sticking out of water, then in the middle of our front yard, in front of house we have a huge round garden with very big lantern in the middle with a path to lantern in middle of garden (if you want to light up the lanterns looks great). Then there is another garden out front of our bedroom window of huge sitting lady placed in centre.

Now our backyard :) - We have a 100 square metre gazebo from bali with a bali hut joined onto gazebo (our guest room) which has a bathroom with marble sink and pebble floor all from Bali. Around the outskirts of our gazebo and hut are gardens (all our gardens are in-filled with cowra gold pebbles and the black volcanic statues look great amoungst these pebbles). Also overlooking our huge gazebo is a Koi fish pond with bush rock around it and 2 large water features of Huge faces spurting water from their mouths into fish pond, also a large turtle sputing water from its mouth into fish pond. We have a nice collection of beutiful coloured Koi fish in our pond, and it does help having a Koi Farm just around the corner from us :).
From our gazebo it is all joined up with stencil crete paths and pebbled gardens to our pool and our house and we have 5 cotton tail parms in between our pool and gazebo. Where our hut is joined onto the gazebo and from our house is a huge area all filled in with cowra gold pebbles and in the centre of this area placed on a concrete slab is a full sized statue of an elephant (the elephant has a seat on it with fine detailed gold pattern painted on it)which we got from bali and behind is a 9 metre brushwood fence as a backdrop and at each side of fence is 2 huge Vases (We just have to plant a bit of greenery in this area). Along the sides of our paths which lead from the house to the gazebo area are Bali lanterns which are all wired up and look fantastic at night we use the yellow bulbs in the lanterns which repel mosquitoes. We also have a walkway roof made to match the gazebo and hut which leads from house to gazebo for shelter if raining. Inside gazebo on all eight sides I have some of those brightly coloured hanging mobiles from bali that have the little square pieces of mirror stuck all over them and these have stopped the birds from going in the gazebo when it is not used as they do not like the reflections from them (So there's a tip and they look great).
Our outdoor project was only completed in December and we had a huge party to celebrate with a live band set up on stage of our gazebo and 150 guests. We have many comments and interests from people with comments like they feel like they have just stepped out of their car and are on holidays in a relaxing atmosphere, sometimes its hard to get rid of them LOL :)

All the best with your outdoor project!
