Hi, yes i used a gym in Legian Street for six months and it is great and there a few westerners using it but mostly Balinese body builders , male and female. it is called Ade Rai and it is behind La Porchetta (up the laneway, Quiksilver factory up there too) in Jl Legian on left hand side going south to Kuta from Jl Melasti , just down from Peanuts. Komang Arnawa, Mr. Bali, Mr. Indonesia 2002, Mr. Western Australia 2003 is there plus many others. They are so supportive and friendly, 'cant remember how much, but nothing compared to here, I think I paid for temp. membership and then by month, I had personal trainer which cost me 100,000 rph per hour, which was about $15. Best and quiet time for me was 8.30 a.m. but with the cheap membership you can go all day everyday. I lost 24 kg in 8 months, I think I was the oldest female Western or Indonesian to go there (had never been to a gym before in my life) and i made many caring friends there. Say hi to Komang if he is there from Anna (Australia) who used to live at Mirah. Have fun
