I can remember hiring a driver to take us somewhere out in the country and he had an old HD holden (circa 1965 I think). The inevitable happened - we broke down in the middle of no where. I lifted the bonnet and started looking for the obvious - did we have fuel - do have have a spark?
Mean while the driver is fiddling under the dashboard. When I asked him what he was doing, he said "If horn work ... then car work". a minute or so later he blows the horn and he is able to start the car.
That saying has stuck with us for twenty odd years whenever there is a problem with a vehicle .... "If horn work ... then car work".
