many of you have probably done this,but for those who haven,t,we went on our usual route today.
start from ramanyana,along main road away from millenia end,you will pass tons of shops,shoes,bags,sports,car gear,not many tourists along here but well worth it.my wife does most of the spending but i did buy my granddaughter a magic dora the explorer backpack for 32,000,a third of price in matahari,pleased as hell i was too.
you can cut through the back streets to kumbasari too,or jump on a bemo if you get knackered.It truly is a great way to spend a few hours if you like that sort of thing.
We then get a bemo back to kuta,great having a laugh with the locals,who don,t understand a word of my mancunian accent,but its still a good crack.
if you go in some of the local mini marts(not circle k)along these streets,you can buy all sorts of great stuff,like 5 pack of razor blades for 2,000 rph,anyhow i wont bore you any longer,but give it a try if your a nosy get like me,you,ll love it...cheers
