When my partner and I went we had a recommendation from a so called well seasoned traveller staying at our hotel.......... it ended up the car had no air con ( boss fault) and we had my step kids in car all feeling quite ill on Ubud trip. Then all he ( driver) wanted to do was stop at his % shops which him/I ended up in a brawl over... Id much rather pay for a differnt guaranteed what U want experience !!! Nothing worse than hearing the step kids with their mum and new partner in Bali at same time saying how good their car & driver was. we only had them for a day whilst we were there but hell I was embarrased and also concerned for the kids. !! Poor buggers sweating like !!!
