Hi Pamela - I rang ANZ and they confirmed they are now putting a $2 per month fee on the account, plus they have increased the conversion fee to 2.5%. Applies to new accounts immediately, and existing accounts comes into place in March. So a $100 withdrawal in Indonesia will cost the $2 monthly fee, plus $5 overseas withdrawal and $2.50 conversion fee = $9.50 if only one withdrawal per month. I guess it is still cheaper than any of the options I know about. I will keep the account for now, but will have a look at other options as well. Doesn't seem much I know, but converted into rupiah that amount goes a long way.
