right now which must be booked in G Class and which must be paid in full by 28th January. Even though Easter is Shoulder Season and subject to a surcharge, this package fare is lots lower than what one would pay otherwise.

Garuda is owned by the Indonesian Government and is still proceeding with its fleet expansion programme. It was trading well until latest problems in Bali and the huge amount of refunds (which they did not necssarily have to give). It has, for a long time been the policy of the Indonesian Government to set Garuda up for listing on stock exechange. This should have happened by 2006 but was postponed following the 2002 bombings. The Government is now seeking to bring this forward to provide necessary injection of funds. There is NO way that they would allow their National "Flagship" Airline to do anything but progress. The previous Garuda Board of Directors has lots to answer for as they oversaw a reduction in services and routes. The latest Board is very pro-active and I am sure you will see Garuda grow again in the coming year.
