Its amazing how many suggestions that you have come up with that I hadnt in my own non 18 year old head thought of.
I went overseas first at 23/24 years of age to Singapore - which you just cant compare to Bali. But I remember being very excited to have a passport and have a stamp in it like some big time global traveller !! Ha !
Funny enough I did get like a Culture Shock which my sister still reminds me of. I think being in a city with so many people was just overwheling for country girl me.
I recall the Singapore Sling being a big item.. I must have 3 or 4 pics of me with the Sling in my albulm. Ha Ha !
