My wife and I had a great trip - she is back there at the moment with her sister (arrived today). The one that was suffering Gus' loss was the little cocktail barmaid 'Emy'. I think they were special friends. Unfortunately we just got an e-mail from her saying she had been laid off from Joni and is looking for work.
I feel so despondent because she is Javanese and only has a Grandmother (no parents). We are waiting for a response from her with her mobile number so that we can give her some money to sustain her. I've told my wife to ask for her number at Joni's and if that fails, see if Boy can track her down.
Emy told us that Gus has a premonition that something was going to happen to him. She showed us a photo taken of her and Gus on her mobile phone's camera.
Boy is doing pretty well - despite dyeing his hair blond and cutting it short! He hopes to have some tee shirts printed for his band.
I expect my wife and her sister will probably go down to see him after dinner.
