that they love the food and the pool and making friends with people.
They enjoyed seeing how they live.We took them to local houses with those who we had made friends with.
We would take them to all different restaurants (just the cheap local ones)not the same one all the time.
We would make sure the pool was nice as they loved to spend time in that especially getting used to the hot weather.....and we took pool noodles in the cases and left them there.
They loved to do their own shopping.....we just showed them how to bargain. They bought for themselves and their friends...if they didn't want to bargain then we took them to tootsies and fixed price places like that.
They enjoyed the zoo and elephants and attractions.
Basically if they looked bored we would not drag it out.
They liked doing the drives up into the villages etc and seeing the sights like the locals bathing in the storm water drains and the dead pigs on the footpaths that had just been killed. All of those sorts of things opened their eyes as to how lucky we are.
last trip we did parasailing.....even my daughter, who was 10.
Your son would probably like trying the different alcoholic beverages.Last trip the teenagers we had on board drank too much and spoiled alot of their next day.....what's a holiday if you are going to sleep until after lunch.......can stay in australia and do that.
Our kids have been to singapore and Malaysia and Thailand and Bali and loved every trip.
