Just read markthespark below and thought I would share that we just got back a few days ago after yet another brilliant two weeks in Bali - it was a little quiet but certainly not dead and the locals just as wonderful as ever!! We revisited our absolute favourite village of Seseh and managed to get villa 2 at tamu Seseh for a 'reunion' stay , with our friends who came in from singapore - and delighted to find that the villa and staff were, if anything, even better than before! Total heaven and we unwound , relaxed, and wandered into seminyak when we felt like it for shopping and a few meals, although Agung is still cooking up a storm at the villa! Best of all they now have a lovely singaporean girl managing the place and we also had two great nights at their villa in Jimbaran , the angkasa , with amazing views over all of Southern bali. Also really enjoyed a break in northern bali at the damai hotel - peaceful and quiet and great food! The whole trip was a joy and we will be back before the year is out - definitely!
