or better still, a doberman! We stayed on MF Rd for a week last year & didn't see any monkeys at all except when my hubby took the kids to the monkey forest. Our daughter came back to the room looking like harry potter - she had a zig-zag scratch on her head from a monkey bite! A year later she has more or less recovered, or so the specialists say. As the locals couldn't charge you to see the monkeys if they roamed the street, they have created a monkey forcefield around the forest - unnoticed by humans, but strong enough to keep the monkeys in. OK so this last theory comes from my 9 year daughter with the overactive imagination (but only since the monkey bite). Cheers, Sue.
