Monkeys walks

I will be staying at the Tegal Sari and though I have obtained the Book of Bali maps the monkey zones are not delineated. Do monkeys stay in the trees where they belong in the dark? I do not mind hills; in fact I prefer them. Are monkey crossings posted like kangaroo crossings?
