I have travelled i always bargain the same way.
usually the rule of thumb is start at 1/3 and expect to pay around half.
If the item is 100 000rp then start at 30 000rp and expect to pay around 50 000rp.
Sometimes they start way over the top and i just refuse and walk away and other times they are fixed price (usually in a shop)and won't budge of course.
