As much as I love Bali I don't think I would go there for a while. There are so many other lovely places to go to, you all make it sound like there is just 'Bali', or 'live in fear at home'. I so disagree. The government warnings are in place for a reason, not just for the hell of it. I lost a friend at Jimbaran Bay so maybe that makes me think differently. I'm sure my friend felt quite safe as he was sitting down to eat dinner! Or he wouldn't have been there in the first place. Get what I am saying. It is just a sad time for Bali at the moment. If people want to go it is their choice but a few opinions (even if you don't want to hear them) may help them decide what to do. I have travelled to Bali many times but I don't think I'd feel safe, but I lost a friend so maybe that is why I think this way. Sorry if I p**s anyone off. Didn't mean to.
