Thinking about July for Bali holiday

Hi
Just looking at planning our holidays for the year and looking at Bali for the July school holidays. Have been to Bali 3 time before but all times in Jan. What is the weather like in July...can you still lay around the pool then jump in and swim up to the bar!!! lol I live in Cairns so guessing that the weather would be fairly similar to here. Does it get cold?
