as we was lucky to have a friend who speaks excellent Balinese and they bargained big time. The room the bed and even the cut to be stitched as they measure the cut they are stitching and charge for the size they convinced them to measure from top to top instead of the length of both sides of the V ;-)
My husband was in the ICU room and we was charged around that off memory i still have the reciepts if you would like me to look it up for you.
Sorry to hear about the baby hope the baby has improved and is doing much better. Travel insurance has not covered? sometimes they will pay or agree to cover all through the hospital directly (I am guessing they get a discount, as i know the comment that was made to us by the travel insurance was it would not have cost us this much, I won;t tell you what my reply to them was.......)
