Yes bombs have gone off many people have been killed and the Government has issued a travel warning, this has to tell you at least the Aust Government does not think Bali is safe.
I guess also the fact that even with the collapse of Air Paradise and reduction/rescheduling of flights you have to draw the conclusion that a lot of other Australians also don't feel that Bali is a safe place to visit. My personal feelings are that Bali might not be the safest place in the world but a life lived in fear is a life not lived.
This all being said we have made a decision to return to Bali again in the coming weeks.
I personally feel that if I had never been to Bali pre Oct 1 then I probably would never have visited and when we tell people we are returning to Bali comments like 'your crazy' 'I would never go there' only seem to come from people who have never been to Bali actually most of them with the loudest of opinions have never ventured far from home at all.
You're the only one who can make decisions on the safety of yourself and your family. Do what feels right to you.
