first visit

Our first visit to Bali 2nd January 2006 on way to visit family in Oz.
Our intention is to stay in Sanur Paradise Plaza.
Can anyone offer comments re this hotel or make suggestions in same area.
We are mindful of the present situation and any useful advice as to areas to avoid will be given full consideration.
We are from Northern Ireland so have a fair understanding of other countries problems
