Bali to Perth airfares best way???

We are hoping to bring our Balinese friend over for 2 weeks and need some help with the organising. Is it cheaper to buy airline ticket in Bali or in Perth? If in Bali does anyone know a good agent to deal with in Bali? Also any hidden costs that we may not have considered??
