It was because our tickets were issued between 14th Nov & 24th Nov from what i can gather that ten day time frame that they were still taking payment's they knew that they were going into solvencing & that is classed as fraud as i see it.
I know we were very lucky to get a refund back,but just couldnt understand why we then lost the taxes just seems weird that we get airfares & not taxes which are paid mainly to Australia.Anyway I have written to the Minister Tourism Chris Ellison so he may be able to explain were that money has gone.
So please dont get me wrong we are thrilled we got any money back at all & that we are still going in march.just like to know who ended up with it thats all.hope this helps explain HOW. Cheers
