I have done the cooking class at Casa Luna & Tegal Sari Hotel both in Ubud. I would have to say the Tegal Sari was excellent. I actually corresponded with the hotel manager a couple of months before arriving and suggested some of the dishes i would like to make. The menu was put together and emailed back to me. Every thing we made we can get all the ingredients in Australia. The hotel arranged for transport to pick us up at a very cheap rate. I think we paid Rp200000
for 4 hours. The out door kitchen overlooked the rice fields and monkey forrest, it was awesome!!. After preparing and cooking for a couple of hours we sat down to a candle lite dinner with the chef. Now the chef we had owns the Bali Sate in Seminyak and he does cooking classes there also, so you might like to look that one up too.
HAPPY COOKING :)
