I stay at hotels owned by Kadek, have drank many times in his bars, travelled on boats he owns and used his taxi services AND will continue to do so. Not because he owns them, but because they offer a good level of service from his Balinese employees. Despite the fact the AP has gone under, I know of many Balinese that he has helped through hard times. Its unfair that so many people have lost money and had their holidays ruined, but to hold this over other businesses owned by the same person is not right. As you say it is the Balinese that will suffer in the long term, if we take on a bouycott attitude.
BTW - collapse or not, cheap or not, I would have never flown with AP again - it was the most uncomfortable flight I have ever experienced and definitely not worth the small amount I saved compare to flying with Garuda.
