from what I heard last night from a very close friend of Kadek's He is a very broken man!! and is affected greatly with his finance also!

I sat with my wife and Kadek on Christmas day after the 2002 bombing
and watched Kadek as he talked about opening A.P. He stated that if he didn't start a price war with other airlines and A.P. setting the price, then it would take many years for Bali to recover! and he knew that if it didn't work he would more than likely loose every thing he had worked for.! This may well be the case, only he knows..

Kadek spoke about his love for Bali and the Balinese people and the need to recover. I have never seen any other person perspire as much as Kadek did that day, making up his mind to open A.P.

Kadek is loyal to his staff and looked after the ones that suffered in the first bombing (unlike the Sari Club) and not many people know this but he also looked after the families of seven drivers families who lost their life in the first bombing as he had got to know them outside his clubs and felt for their familes and this continued and i belive still continues through a third party.

Also, Kadek dosn't own all the many places listed in other posts.
Kadek has shares in some and the precentage varys from place to place.

So, do we persecute the lovely Balines staff of a venue/hotel that Kadek (a man who cares deeply for the Balinese) may have only 10 perscent shares in.? I think not!

There are two sides to Kadek, so please don't judge him as the part owner of a defunct airline that was opened to help the people of Bali.

I only hope that another airline, such as VIRGIN start flights to Bali and create a price war so that Bali may recover a little quicker
than it is looking at the moment..

Long live Paradise
