I got out of my first marriage when I was 43. This was in the 1970s Disco era. As far as I was concerned, if I thought about it at all, I would have put middle age as maybe mid eighties. Although I now have friends in their eighties who don't fit that concept.
Some of us may remember John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever. He loved to dance, so he got all dressed up and went out to strut, as he called it. Well, I went out to strut too. And that's what I'm still doing.
