what you mean. The Bali Beach House is maybe 1km from the main village area. There are a few restaurants nearby but the cook at the house was so good (used to be a cook at Miro's in Ubud) that we never went anywhere else. Fishermen will take you to the good snorkelling spots for about RP100,000. Wayan, the security guy at the house, will take you on hikes in the hills nearby for spectacular views of the area. And my favorite thing to do was to photograph the fishermen as they came in in the morning. I hope this helps. If not, leave me another message.
