I booked the villa for myself as I have done for the last 4 trips to bali. I travel on my own generally and meet up with friends from home and interstate. As to the rate they quote it on the website in US dollars but I paid in australian dollars $130per night [xmas is peak], however this is also dependent on the number of people staying in the villa. The owners reside in Victoria, and bascially it is best to contact them direct for pricing.
There are usually 2 staff at the villa 24 hours a day, and if you wanted them to cook other meals they would happily oblige. You can give them money to go buy the produce and then they would prepare it for you. The staff have a little self contained office / room at the side of the villa. In the evening at 6.00pm the Security guard comes on duty and is there until 7.00am. He is a lovely guy.
I never worried about meals as either ate out or my friend Katak would go buy local food for anyone who was there at the time to eat. hope this is some help...cheers
