a critique of insect repellents and their conclusions were that the brands that contained DEET were the most effective but they didnt think that the high level of DEET in some brands was necessary. They also said that some of the more natural remedies do work but that the duration of cover was much less. In some cases as little as ten minutes before reapplication was required.
