Travel Industry but are you still serioiusly trying to tar everybody with the same brush.
Is there no point where you think there is any honour in making a living as a Travel Agent? You seem to think that to be an agent is to be some kind of money grabbing criminal.
These are extraordinaty circumstances that don't happen very often and as mentioned before are not covered suitably by any legislation.
I have deifinitely heard of some really bad situations with regards to refunds where money has been available but loaded with so many charges that the client really has been ripped off but hey that's not all of us. When my clients have thanked me for various things I don't insist that they rush this news to the BTF.
Mcdonalds commissioned a survey with the results showing that for every dissatisfied customer they tell 11 people and for every happy customer they tell 2. Based on this we are all bound to hear the worst and often.
I will say again that there should be a Trust Fund Federally supervised to protect punters on both sides of these situations.
