They will test your eyes for you for free so it is not needed to get a new prescription if you dont want to,they can also read your existing script off your glasses.
there are several opticians very close to your hotel inc in discovery centre.Cost for lenses will depend on what you are getting ie tinted,clearor multifocal etc but contact lens are about $20 for box of six,and are to take out of your eyes daily not leave in constantly for 1 month.
