Hi, I have recently moved back to Australia after living in Bali with my young children. You can get most things for your baby like Huggies and all well know baby products. The car seat will be a bit difficult in the taxis. Most of the time I held my children, the traffic doesn't go very fast, max 60. You will be safe enough to sit in the back with the baby on your lap. Unless you hired a car, though most cars in Bali don't even have seat belts. Ubud is alot cooler than Kuta and other places. You will be fine in the shade and pool. Just make sure you take good mozzie repellent and suncream and maybe take a mozzie net for your pram or cot. The Balinese love children and will probably offer to look after them while you have a peaceful swim. Have a great holiday.
