accommodation

I will be travelling with my 2.5 yo daughter (god help bali!!) and would like some advise as to suitable accommodation. She is active and would require a hotel that has grounds for her to roam. My main concern is safety am looking for a hotel with good security. My ex husband is indonesian and I don't want him to have easy access entering the hotel premises. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
