Singaraja is very interesting if your interested in history and Art Deco Architecurual buildings. Its great to make it part of a day trip on the way to Lovina and then onto Banjar hot springs, the best hot springs in Bali....You can spend hours there, even have lunch.. The country side is beautiful up north, so well worth a look if you havent ventured this far before. We have been visiting Banjar springs & Lovina since 1996. We are currently arranging to move to Bali and we will still be visiting this area. If you like a quiet area and swimming with Dolphins, early in the morning, lovina is heaven. We generally pay about 300,0000 to 400,000 depending on the fuel price from 8.00am to about 8.00pm at night.... Our driver who we have used for ever is Donny, Mobil No: if calling from Aust (0011)6281 239 21580 or from bali: 081 239 21580.. I would actually send him an email, to wayne_crue@hotmail.com ...And see what price you can get from him..

Currently Accommodation prices are so cheap up the north of Bali, so there are some really good bargains to be had and its well worth doing. So much to see and do on the way, via Candi Kuning, Berdugul Markets are the best.... But forget the food at the local rest stop!!! Better of buying fruit there.. Just so much to see, its a pity, not many tourists really venture this far... Have fun and enjoy..
